Question: Can I use digital sheet music files on any computer?
Mac users please click here.
Answer: Complete digital sheet music files that have been purchased online can only be viewed in their entirety and printed out on the computer that was used to purchase the files. A complete, purchased sheet music file that is transferred onto another will only display the first sample page of the sheet music. Our encryption technology, which protects our copyright holders, will block the ability to view the entire piece. However, if you would like to play your digital sheet music on a computer that is different from the machine you purchased them on, you can use your one-time restore option in order to do so. After using your one-time restore option however, we recommend that you choose one machine for downloading, printing, and viewing musicnotes.com files. However, we would like to encourage you to give your sample files to family and friends.
